Alameda Point is a 2,000 acre former naval air base located in the heart of the San Francisco Bay area. Community outreach services provided support of the investigation, cleanup and eventual reuse of the former Alameda Naval Air station. Tasks include:

• Development and execution of community relations plan
• Creation of a quarterly newsletter
• Plan and organize yearly community open house and base tours with an attendance of 100 community members
• Create and distribute fact sheets, work notices and activities updates in support of Remedial Action Workplans, Remedial Action Plans, Engineering Evaluations/Cost Analyses and emergency removal actions
• Provide briefings to local officials and community organizations
• Arrange and facilitate monthly Restoration Advisory meetings with attendance of about 50 members of the public
• Attend monthly Base Realignment and Closure
• Interact and maintain positive relations with the local community, local press and on-site tenants.
