Minden-Tahoe Airport is a general aviation airport that serves as a premiere gliding facility. A master plan update is scheduled to begin in Fall 2005. In anticipation of the master plan update, Craig Communications has been retained to conduct assessment interviews and write an assessment report to determine the needs and interests of various airport stakeholder groups; plan, organize and execute a community visioning/planning charette which includes identification of key stakeholders, preparation of support materials and informational presentation; facilitation of break-out sessions with stakeholders to identify and prioritize airport usage issues; compilation of visioning session information into a usable report and recommendations to be acted upon by the Board of Supervisors.
